Introducing: Pages Custom Journals

Today is launch day for my new business! I have spent most of my summer working on creating Pages Custom Journals, and it has been quite the process. At times it has definitely been stressful and scary, but I’m so proud of myself for getting to this point and I can’t wait to see where it goes in the future.

I’ve been bullet journaling for 4 years now, and I had many friends who would talk to me about how it was something they were interested in but didn’t think they could do themselves for various reasons. Eventually my cousin’s wife, Stephanie, reached out to me and asked me to set up a bullet journal for her. I had a lot of fun working with her to set up exactly what she wanted, and I’ve done it for her for the past two years.

After making her the first one, she told me I should make a business making journals for other people because of how much she loved hers. I was a bit apprehensive because I wasn’t sure if this was something people would actually be interested in, but after lots of time spent trying to think of a way to actually create a sustainable business out of making custom journals, Pages was born.

I’ve had so much fun creating my branding for the business, finding products I like to use, and building my website (thanks to Shopify for being the platform my website is hosted on). Launch day is already going better than I could’ve hoped for, I got my first order and it wasn’t even from a friend or family member!

I know this journey of being a small business owner is just beginning, but I’m already so proud of myself for what I have built and for following my passions even when it wasn’t the easiest path. Please check out the website, and if you have any advice for a new small business drop it in the comments below!
